Working Toward Zero Tolerance of Domestic Violence in North Carolina

About Us
NCPAT is a networking and support organization for professionals of state-certified Domestic Violence Intervention Programs (DVIPs) and other individuals or agencies that wish to support the work of DVIPs.

Our Beliefs
The individuals and organizations affiliated with NCPAT have a common vision of strengthening families through eliminating domestic violence. We believe that domestic violence offenders should assume sole responsibility for their abusive behavior.

What Do We Do?
The main function of NCPAT is to build on our expanding knowledge base and serve as a catalyst for new and more effective approaches for intervention with domestic violence offenders. We work with stakeholders across the state to increase offender accountability and promote victim safety.

Who Can Join?
We welcome agencies with a certified Domestic Violence Intervention Program (DVIP), who meet the criteria of the North Carolina Council for Women & Youth Involvement to provide services intervention to domestic violence offenders, as well as individuals who support the purposes of the organization and desire to be more informed and involved in the work of DVIPs.
