Working Toward Zero Tolerance of Domestic Violence in North Carolina

May 4-5, 2017 in Clemmons NC. NCPAT Conference: Does it Come in My Size? Advancing Batterer Intervention Through a Holistic Approach.

This two day training will explore reevaluating the “one size fits all” model of batterer intervention. Insights gleaned from empirical research, and features of the evidence based Domestic Violence Risk and Needs Assessment model will be shared. Further discussion will center on developing a more robust and holistic approach in working with men and fathers who use violence utilizing a trauma and social justice lens.
